L’Atelier du Vin Soft Machine Brass

A truly poetic mechanism, the Soft Machine® opens your bottle with a gentle touch. Thanks to its unique gear system, it extracts the cork in a single, seamless motion. Once the support lever is positioned on the neck of the bottle, an ingenious gear keeps the spiral perfectly aligned along the vertical axis throughout the entire uncorking process. The cork is removed effortlessly and without twisting, all in one smooth and continuous movement—unlike other sommelier corkscrews that require a two-step action.

The Soft Machine® also includes a foil-cutting blade and a bottle opener integrated into the handle and base. Carefully designed and crafted by L’Atelier du Vin, each bottle opener is assembled and finished by hand. As most of the materials are naturally sourced and handcrafted, their appearance may vary, adding to the uniqueness of each piece.
